Discrimination Policy

Help for Housing prohibits discrimination in service delivery to any individual who receives or who requests services, and fully supports and applies applicable Federal civil rights laws and other expanded protected classifications that may be mandated by specific county or municipal regulations.

Services must be provided to all eligible individuals without discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin or ancestry, ethnicity, age, disability (including pregnancy), sex at birth, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, political beliefs, marital, parental or family care status, veteran or military status or any other protected category.

Any individual who believes they have been the subject of discrimination should report the matter immediately to the manager or director of the program.
